Just another day at work

Dressing to work is always about comfort, and though these days i usually want to wear dresses (thanks to the heat), since i take the train, i feel pants or jeans are such an easy option. You never have to worry about the breeze blowing up your skirt! i hate that, and it makes me soo conscious. So these jeans of mine are very soft and actually don't make me feel too hot. I love my new top from Vintage Earth which is my go to store for ethnic chic. And my Zara shoes, which are my attempt at androgyny. Also check out the tiny animal farm on my ears. Take care.
BTW, i am now available for taking people shopping...aka like a personal shopper. I have done a few stints for friends and i think i can do it professionally. And no, i am not charging the world. So if you have anyone who wants a new wardrobe and needs some help, do recommend me if you think it will be of help :) Affordable shopping or high street, we can do it all. Please do spread the word.

Food for your Soles!

One thing I love about summer is the pretty colours and shapes shoes come in. Wearing the strappy shoe is so much better when they are in gold and silver. So when Sole'D asked me to try their shoes, I was more than happy to get on that bandwagon. The strappy flats are perfect for someone who are on their feet the whole day but still want their feet to look pretty. Comfort is key, all the while looking so cute. I paired the flats with an Aztec print dress that i picked up for a steal at Lokhandwala market for just Rs 300. It's perfect for that evening out for coffee or in this weather, lemonade. They also have many other pretty colours so do try them out. They are available at a click Sole'D :) and for the dress, just ask me for directions!! Hope you like it. The typewriter is from Chor Bazar.

love a steal

So a trip to the andheri markets with my sister in law who didn't want to do "mall" shopping during her visit to Bombay helped me find a couple of dresses i would have never ever found. This dress that i am wearing is all of Rs 250 and fits perfecttly. I just bought it and it's already one of my favourites. This is from Manish Market where you can find many small shops selling export stuff. do check them out. With a little accessorising, it looks great! the pics are a little blurry so sorry about that!!

Long time No see

Helloo people, it's been a long time and i apologise. But i just never found myself blog ready -- which i never am by the way. I can never choose locations, nor put on any kind of make-up!! I get envious every time I see all the other bloggers but then if i try to do what they do, I will end up looking like a big fool. I remember the last time i put blush, a friend pointed out that it looked as if I had got socked in the face. Anyway, today i liked what I wore so I took a picture. And i quite liked them, even though I am completely a Zara whore in these. Everything is from Zara, and i am so okay with that. It suits my body shape the best and makes me look as chic as someone like me can. So it's cool right? I have even stopped putting kajal now because have developed an allergy. So do tell me if i look fine without even that piece of make-up that once i couldn't do without. I just love colour and this is an ide to that. And yes, I LOVE my shoes. Animal print rocks! Let's hope I blog more now. Love you guys!!

A little bling goes a long way

shoes from zara, bag from promod and top from Forever 21
So I bought new shoes, which are so pretty that i want to sleep with them. also even though i am getting fatter by the day, shoes are something that will always fit. :) but seriously i think a little bling does a lot of a plain outfit like this -- i also love my top which is again lace, and pink at that. and i suddenly discovered these black jeans that make me look slightly slender. they are so my favourite now. hope you like the look. I had to tie my hair like a school girl -- it's just so hot!

Going green to beat the rains

So i was at the Vero Moda sale the other day, and was trying to buy something to beat the monssons at their own game. I love the rain but it's even more fun when your clothes don't get wet. So i chose this outfit to wear this monsoon, and bought the dress on sale. Yipee!! This lovely green dress makes sure I beat the drab days and the black shrug is to ward off the slight chill that comes with the rains. Teamed with a pretty umbrella and a bright smile, it's the best outfit to enjoy the monsoons while looking ultra chic. Isn't it?

Pret me up Pret-Amoda

So recently i shopped on Pret-Amoda and it was damn fun. I am a pretty fussy shopper and hate shopping online, except for books obviously. But the experience shopping on this website was easy and fuss free. And i got some cool stuff out of it. As you all know by now, i absolutely love lace, so i bought this top that combines my love for lace and the colour black. Also got this damn cute sling bag that will go with any outfit at all. And it's all pretty affordable, which i always recommend. Don't break the bank, be stylish for less. so let me know if you liked my buys!!!
