Lace Love

So i can't just get enough of lace, and in a pop colour, that's just fantastic. I paired it my green pants...(what else...i am trying to be too dramatic you know) and plain kohlapuris and a white bag...i am not big on accessories so colur and lace are my only saving graces!! do you like the look...and yes, these pics are with my new camera...:) i am still experimenting with it, so really cool pics will follow soon..take care ;)

Curve me out: the first dress!!

And so I got my first dress stitched and I like it!! It's a silhouette that suits curvy girls like me and i just loved the colour. I also kept it plain and simple as it was the first time but you wait and see, I am going to get much more adventurous now. So do you guys like or dislike...can't wait to know!! :)

Curve me out!!

So the verdict is in, as hard as I try, I can't get rid of my curves. Bu then, it struck me, why did I ever want to...they are what make me smoking hot, right? :) And i had started this blog with the main aim to celebrate my body, not try and cover it. I love wearing clothes that give my body a shape and highlight my good points and hide my bad ones, but then i also thought that i never ever flaunt my curves even a bit. But the other day, I wore this dress and suddenly realized that i love my curves....so here is my PLAN -- i am going to get a dress stitched every month (maybe two) that suit my shape -- the pear shape -- to perfection. If you have curves, they will suit you too...(maybe with a few alterations to fit your shape) and if you like the dress, you can order it here and i will get it made for you in your size!!!...how does that sound? (we can change colour, print)
i have already given my first dress for stitching and let's hope it's a smashing one!! here's to a curvy you and a fabulous you....

W woos me and i fall hard!

I have always said that i love Indian wear. So i was surprised that I had never walked into a W, especially after i saw all the clothes. Loved the prints -- as they were so different and so modern. And it was refreshing to see a store take inspiration from international trends -- such as tribal prints. Loved the whole collection all because of the colours - this yellow kurta has become my favourite kurta and i only got it a day ago! I was shocked i hadn't been here before, but now, i will frequent it as much as i can! take a look at these pictures and tell me you won't to the same. W, you wooed me.

School girl chic...it was too hot so i decided to tie my hair in a pony tail, and as i now have been condemned to wearing specs, i decided why not go the whole hog and try the school girl look! I haven't been to a Tommy store for some years now, and it was really fun checking it out all over again last week. What i love about tommy is the preppy chic vibe, take a few pieces from there and you could just like Serena and Blair. The check shorts, the leather skirts...all were to die for. And as always, the clothes are meant to be up and about in -- so chic and comfy i could die!! No i don't wanne die, i want to wear them...i tried on a classic red check shirt and fell in love with it completely. Hope you like it. So i visited the Pavers England outlet in Phoenix and was pleasantly surprised. I really liked their ethnic collection and some of their heels! They are super comfortable despite having 4 inches attached to them, and that's what their ideology is -- to be comfy -- something Indian Summer totally agrees with.
